I love my leos & think they are so pretty that I don't know what to do but try & paint them! :p haha! I haven't touched watercolour since I was about 5 (acrylics are my vice) so these are my test pieces! I'd love to see everyone's leopard gecko art! :)
1. inspired by my hypo het blizzard 'Nova'
2. inspired by my bell albino 'Pink'
3. inspired by my tangerine reverse stripe enigma 'Lumen'

Thanks for looking ^.^

Thank you!! :) watercolours are pretty fun & free, easier than what I'm used to. I've always envied people who can do the quicker messy-look watercolour paintings with splashes & strokes of colour, I have trouble doing it because i'm a perfectionist. From first to last they just kinda slowly end up transitioning into what looks more like acrylics lol

Thanks so much! ^.^ Ever since I rescued my enigma Lumen I've thought his head looks like a watercolour painting! :)
Here he is (in his cricket feeding tub- he has trouble chasing them down!)

awh I love love love! i like to draw too but I have never drawn a gecko....and I don't work with paints of any type (because I guess I don't have the patience for it or something :p ) I just use pencil and pen....I'll have to try and draw a leo one day and see if it comes out nice. :)

I'd love to see some of your art! I'm sure you'd be great at painting too :) it's definitely more of a pain to get out and set up lol, i'm liking the watercolour though it's much more forgiving and quick!
