Can leopard geckos get Worms, the way cats do?

My cats occasionally have an outbreak of flea and a few jump into my leos cage. If eaten, can the fleas give my leos worms?

parasites that live in mammal guts are unlikely to live happily in reptile guts.

I'd think you'd be worried about your cats getting worms, though. if you treat them for fleas it won't be an issue?
