Gekkies vs other pets in the household

I'm wondering what other people's experiences with geckos and other pets are?

We have a cat and she loves sitting around watching them go about their business, she'll even sit and wait for them to come out. When Donut comes out to be handled I usually allow her to smell him a little and he's not even fazed, he'll just look at her and lick her nose. Of course, I only let her come near because I know her and she's only curious, not aggressive (also I always put a hand in front of her chest so she can't move too close or lift her paws in case she'd decide to take a little swat at him).

Introducing him to the cat, I was a little afraid that he'd get scared but it's just the opposite. Whenever she's sitting on her cat tree, watching him, he'll sit around with his head pointed right up, looking at her and attempt to crawl up to her. I guess he doesn't understand that she's different from humans

I only have two dogs in the house- a 12 year old male beagle and a 5 year old female beagle/dachshund mix. They both like to kill and eat rabbits, snakes or lizards (whatever they can find) so I know for sure it wouldn't go well trying to introduce them. They have jumped up and touched noses thru the glass but the dogs don't really try to get at them. Edgar, however, gets super aggro when Emily starts running around the living room getting zoomies. He comes out of his hide and stares her down, pupils wide and brows furrowed. Dan and I say he acts like a crabby old man with a cane knocking on the glass shouting "you kids knock it off out there!" LOL

That's funny! Because I had very much the same experience with My Leo, Komodo. Today one of my cats, Lucky was on the counter next to his "Room" basically menacing him, (little bully) and he ran up to the glass and, I'm not sure how, I was fixing his crickets, did SOMETHING to TERRIFY her! I turned in time to see her hiss in the direction of The Aquarium that is Komodo Dragon's "Room", jump down and Bolt from the room as if the Demons of Hell were chasing her! She is STILL refusing to go anywhere NEAR his "Room"! LOL.

My snakes loves looking down at my leos especially my nocturnal lizard-eating specialists lol.. My ****atiel gets freaked out by them at night and tries to scare them off by opening his wings but to no avail since my leos just ignore him lol..

When she see's our dog she totally goes into her hunt pose it cracks me up, he's just walking along on the floor about 3 feet down and she focus on him so hard it cracks me up. I keep him out of the room when I hold her so it won't freak her out but she's still young.
