Exo Terra Fogger good or bad?

I am looking for a fog machine for my Gold Dust's enclosure so it helps with high humidity. Additionally I had thought fog would look cool as it does with tropical setups. I saw the Exo Terra fogger but I saw some bad reviews on it. Is this product worth paying 30 to 40 bucks?

This is bullshit!
Fog isn't harmfull for gecko's and it's even beneficial for species that live in high elevated area's and very humid/cloudy forests.
We can highly recommend it for gecko's that need high humid conditions such as most Uroplatus sp. , Aeluroscalabotes sp. , a whole bunch of montane Cyrtodactylus species and all others that like it wett.
We use it all the time and they realy love it, as well as most of our chameleon's and Abronia's, and i'm very sorry but i can't seem to recall that they where classified as amphibians.

If your gecko/lizard has problems with his respiratory system it's most likely because you where not providing sufficient ventilation.., and that has nothing to do with fog being harmfull.

To answer the initial question, we have no experience with the Exo Terra fogger, we use Zoo Med repti foggers. They work great, but after a while (few days) the tubing fills up with water so you need to empty it.

i cant find the scientific article to show you what i am talking about
fog is just air with water..and water in lung is dangerous!
if you breath it,it causes you cough!
as i told before fog is really good for species who need high humid but i would never provide to my crested fog machine!!this is just a marketing trick!!they don't really need it!!
if you want humid you can simply mist!
It's more for looks than anything..

Geuss you need to re-read your own comments.

Ofcourse it might be overkill for some species but there is not a single scientific article that states using fog is not good for species that live in high elevations such as, for example montane Trioceros or Abronia species that live on a mountainside surrounded by clouds whole their life.
They realy need the fog to thrive and no, they are still not amphibians!

Also, nobody was talking abouth Correlophus but you.

Thank you for wishing us luck but regarding to using a fogger we don't need it, we have been using them with all of our animals that need it humid with great succes for many years now, and none of them have became sick from it. But we always provide enough ventilation.

We do see where you are comming from though and i geuss it might be that you are not a native English speaker, just as we are, that caused this misunderstanding...
Ofcourse you are right that it's not recommended to use them with animals that don't like it too humid, because in that case respiratory problems indeed could be caused by them.
We also don't recommend them for a whole lot of other species, but for high humidity loving animals and montane species that inhabit a cloudy mountainside in the wild they are a must have in our opinion, but again, they should always be used in combination with sufficient airflow.
