Saggy skin and lethargic, but no idea why? Help!

Hi, I'm concerned about my leopard gecko. She's eating ok, but the last week she's been really lethargic and barely moving - very unlike her.

I've had her for 3 and a half years (got her a few months old).

I took her out to see if she's ok, and notice that her skin is slightly saggy, especially around her front legs. There also appears to be a couple of bulges in her front legs, but not sure if thats just part of the sagginess or another symptom. When I touched there she didn't flinch or anything, so not hurting, but swear I've never seen that before.

Should I consider going to a vet? Or is this something I haven't encountered before that I can help her with now rather than wait?

I should point out that I don't put any sand in her cage, so this isn't due to intestinal impaction and I dust her food with calcium, as well as leave a little calcium pot, so not down to a lack of that, I don't think...?

Anyone encounter anything like this before?

Thank-you for your help!

Take out the dish of calcium. They can overdose. As long as you dust feeders the gecko will get it. Not sure that its related to you problem but Ive seen it advised to not leave plain calcium in the tank

Just read this in another post.

Sorry for all the threads I have out. I discovered my leo Dany has air bubbles under both front arms (I've felt them and they're squishy). She is definitely overweight and I want to put her on a diet, but I want an opinion on how much of a diet I should put her on. I currently give her three medium crickets every other day. Once of week, I dust three crickets with calcium with D3. The store I was getting them from had bigger than average mediums, but when I went to get crickets on Monday, they looked like small crickets. How much should I cut back on her feedings? Some advice/opinions would be nice....

Thanks for the feedback guys (and sorry for long reply, I am in the UK, so sleeping whilst you wrote!)

I don't think she's fat and hoping I don't sound like one of those South American 'mothers' when I say... I think she's too skinny!

I can't seem to post any pictures... anyone know where the I can find out if I've posted often enough to do it?

Hurray! The photos posted :)

In the first you'll see the squishy lump I was talking about. I then did a couple of pictures which shows her size. as you can see, her tail isn't huge, so not very fat.

She looks alittle "round." That's likely what the arm pit bubbles are. Sagging skin or wrinkles can be a sign of dehydration so keep a fresh bowl of water in the cage and make sure the moist hide is wet enough.

So I shouldn't go to the vet with this you think?

She always has water, but the wet hide dries up so fast, I usually only make sure its wet when she is shedding.
