Mealworm poo

I like to keep my feeders clean and healthy so I clean their tubs and add new food, pick out dead ones and such once a week. But I've noticed that whenever I've been sifting mealworms, I get a really bad headache. Does anyone know if there's anything in mealworm poo that's not good for humans?

Some people do have allergies to the mealworms. Try wearing a surgical mask, and see if that helps. I don't get headaches, but I will have sneezing attacks, when sifting through my mealworms. The surgical mask worked for me.

I've also heard of allergies to roaches when people clean out their bins. Best to keep from breathing any of that stuff in.

Allergic reactions. Have one too though I can't really blame it on them since I have animals in wood shavings, tarantulas and other furry animals so pinpointing the culprit is a pain. Just cover your nose with a mask or those nose plugs to avoid anything hehe
