Enclosure TOO BIG?

I have in storage a HUGE aquarium, like EASILY 3-4 foot long, Huge, and 1 1/2-2 feet wide. I would LOVE to make it Komodo's New Room, but the pet store guy, yeah, I know, I shouldn't listen to THEM, said it'd be TOO BIG. Is there such a thing?

I know that you can delete a post by clicking on the edit post option located below the post and select delete post, but I'm not quite sure if you can delete a thread. I believe only the moderators can do that. I'm unsure since I've never had to delete a thread before so maybe someone else will come along with the answer. Sorry!
