Possible infection

A couple weeks ago, my leopard gecko rubbed his nose too hard on his new water bowl and cut his nose a little. It wasn't bleeding and didn't appear to have bled as I didn't see any blood anywhere, so I didn't pay much attention to it. Today, I him out because he had some shed stuck on him, and noticed that his nose was swollen and red. It doesn't appear to have any pus, but I can't tell what's below the surface. I really can't afford to take him to the vet, so is there anything I can do at home to help it before resorting to the vet? I'm attaching somr pictures of the inected area.

"Skin wounds can usually be easily treated by using a reptile safe antibiotic ointment and keeping the cut clean. For the period where the skin is healing use paper towels as a substrate so that no sand can get it. This is to stop the skin becoming inflamed and infected which can lead to other illnesses taking a hold of your leopard gecko. If the cut starts to show infection or is quite deep then I would consult a vet as to what to do."

As long as there's no pus, it could just be swelling from the rubbing, which has left an open wound. I would follow the posted above, from Leopard Gecko Guy

Can you post a pic of your entire enclosure ?

I do see some stuck shed around the scrape. That can quickly turn into mouth rot. Really needs to be addressed asap.
