Calcium deficiency or stress?

Hi guys, this is my first ever post, (I joined about 10 mins ago) so bear with me. I've been keeping Crested Geckos and Gargoyle geckos for a few years now and have never had any problems with them. Recently, I picked up a new male from a local reptile store. I was told his previous owner is in jail and he was pretty badly neglected. He seemed fine in the store, but when I got home and transferred him to his terrarium, he went spastic and dropped his tail. This is no biggie to me as I could care less if he has a tail, but now he is acting strange. He is lethargic, occasionally aggressive, and won't eat or climb. He sits at the bottom of his tank in a corner, and makes no use of the vines and bark that decorates his tank. He usually opens up his mouth at me when I go to get him, but once he's out, even when handling him, he just acts dead. I understand some cresties are simply more laid back, but this is beginning to concern me. Upon checking his calcium sacs, he appears to not even have any? I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but the roof of his mouth is just black. It seems his back is slightly curved like an S too. Could he have a calcium deficiency, or is he just stressed and recovering from his tail loss? Sorry, I know I'm all over the place with this, I'm just concerned, as I've never had any problems with my geckos before. Thanks in advance.

is it possible to post a picture?

I would not handle him, unless medically necessary, for at least a few weeks. he's obviously very stressed and handling won't help that.

is he eating?

He hasn't eaten by himself, but I did the dab some food on his nose trick, just to make sure he got something in him. I'm sure he'll start eating sooner or later, as he definitely is stressed. I'm gonna try giving him some calcium dusted crickets after I'm certain he's eating MRP no problem.
