On a whim I bought all supplies in bulk built 7 and put them up on CraigsList. I'm sure by the picture you can put two and two together.

The heat is contained to the upper right hand corner, there is black tape holding the wire from the heatpad which sits directly under the Duck Shelf Life Liner (black, non- perforated) between that and the polystyrene plastic bottom of the clear drawer it can put out some very well spread out heat. It is not taped "traditionally" under the enclosure (clear polystyrene drawer) and substrate material. The rule of thumb is the UTH take a good portion of ground space. Mine does for the square/rectangle shape of the enclosure. Further more the ambient air temp is 76 on the hot side 88-91 on the ground and using the rest of the enclosure there's a almost " L" shape cool area in the mid seventies. Pretty Neat.

Also this is only a Large it comes in an X-Large which is a playground layout for an LG. Its not the gallons but the shape and layout that matters. I keep an Adult LG in a Large and two Adult LG's in the X-Large.
