Help! Is my crested okay? Is there too much stuff in her terrarium?

Hi there. I am new to crested geckos, and lizards in general. I have read up as much as I can on the internet and also have bought like 5 books and read them. I got my crested gecko, Mew, like 2 weeks ago and I left her in the terrarium that the previous owner gave me; it was a standard 10 gallon aquarium stood upright with not a whole lot of greenery. I wanted to upgrade to something prettier and more comfortable for Mew, so I bought an 18x18x18 terrarium and set it all up with lots of spaces to climb, jump, hide and a lot of greenery as well as live moss and the base is zoo-med eco earth. I put her in the new completely set up terrarium yesterday, and this morning her eyes were sunk in.... I was reading online that sunk in eyes can be caused by stress.

I guess what I want to know is:
Is there too much stuff in the terrarium?
How long do you think it will take her to be happier? I haven't been handling her since she's been in the new setup.
and also, can anyone recommend a good automatic mister? I looked online and every mister on amazon had poor reviews. I've been misting her cage in the morning and at night.

Thank you.

your setup is great. please don't remove any of that cover.

their eyes look a bit recessed when they're sleeping, as the upper crest sort of slumps over the eye. I bet she was sleeping.

I don't have a misting system, but I've seen Mist King recommended over and over, on this site and others, by experienced gecko folks.

Thanks for replying so quickly! The last picture I posted was a picture of her with the sunk in or sunken eyes. Last week she looked like this:

Is that normal then? Phew. That was my main concern.

Yay, I'll leave her terrarium the way it is then and I will look into Mist King misters. Do you mist twice a day? I've been feeding her the repashy and pangea diet. Just want her to be healthy :)

Agreed with Aimless, especially for new geckos, cover is never a bad thing and it's good that you put in. With all the cover, it will make him/her feel safe, and a safe gecko is a happy gecko :)

*edit, as for the mister, I myself own the basic mister setup, comes with everything you need with 1 nozzle, a long length of tube, connectors, and a timer, really the only think you would be missing is a bucket to put water in, I believe there is a pdf online that can help you set it up, but if you need any help with getting it ready if you do choose to get it feel free to ask :). I 100% suggest it, it may be costy but from what I've seen, other misters just aren't the same quality, drip WAY more (which can accumulate in the tank and stress the gecko, or just have been poorly made and you will constantly have to return parts. Please do consider getting one of these, I had absolutely no problems with it, and really the only hassle with it is setting it up and after that it's fine on its own
