Hello,
I recently noticed that my Leopard Gecko has been keeping his left eye closed 30-50% of the time. He'll simply look at me with one eye closed and then go back into his hide. While I'm not too worried about his condition considering he's still very active, eating crickets and mealworms daily, and pooping regularly. However, I would like to fix this as quick as possible without a vet visit if necessary.
Notes: - I do have a humid hide
- The eye does not seem cloudy
- There is no visible stuck shed in his eye
- I have had him for 1 month
- He opens both eyes while I am handling him and occasionally while exploring his terrarium
- I dust crickets + mealworms lightly once a week with a Calcium + D3 supplement, and with a multi-vitamin lightly about every other week.
-The warm temps are typically 87-89 degrees (I know that this is very slightly too cool.)
Thank you for any suggestions and advice you are able to give me concerning the matter.
