Hello there, so I picked up a second gecko at Repticon about a month ago on Memorial Day weekend. I can't believe it's only been a month, for some reason it seems like she grew so much faster than Perdita, the gecko I got at Petsmart. Anyways she's a beaut but a lot more shy than my first bebeh.

Very cute/gorgeous gecko there. You say she's shy...have you tried handling her? I always make sure I handle them when it's quiet, and not too many bright lights, and perhaps more importantly, I go for the "scoop" method, keeping my hand at their level or beneath them. My geckos HATE when my hand is right above them. Must be "predator stance" to them.

Either way, very cute.

Thanks! When I saw her at Repticon I couldn't believe her color! Yep I've held her a few times, but when she is calm, I feel like it's more because she's not too bright and doesn't realize where she is lol. I tried leaving a small glass dish of mealworms and she just keeps bonking her face into the glass... anyways now I am getting her used to me by hand feeding the mealworms one by one. This makes her actually come out when it's feeding time :)
