Got a Giant question

Doing some checking on giants and does any gecko that is over 90 grams count as a giant? I recall reading some where that to be a giant you need to be over 90 grams and super giant was 110 grams.

Wondering because I have a chance to buy two females (mother and Daughter) both I'm told are over 90 grams. (I'm waiting for a exact weight) I know they could just be fat but looking at the photos they don't look fat, they do look healthy but not over weight. I would really like to breed some giants in the future (maybe next year).

Doing so reading last night I found out that there are a few things that need to happen to be a "Giant". Wanted to share them her in case anyone else has the same questions.

First you need to know the parents are giant.
Second is weight. Males need to be 80-110 grams for giant and 110+ grams for super giant.
Females need to be 60-90 grams for giant and 90+ grams for super giant.
Third they need to hit giant size in the first year
Forth is length. The gecko needs to be 10-12" long and proportion correct not just fat.

Then you have to breed them to make sure they throw "giant" babies.

I think I'm going to pick up the two females tonight they look healthy and I don't have any giants in my collection. If they turn out not to be giant not a big deal still to pretty geckos at a good price.
