choosing breeding pair / best choice

Hi all,

I like red harleys so am lijed up to purchase 1.1 red harleys.

But im thinking it may make sense to get a different looking male, say a tangerine, tricolour, pinstripe etc..

What is the best way to get the best variety

as crested genetics is still a coin-toss in many respects, there's not really a good way to answer that question. unless you have line-bred for at least a few generations, you can't really predict what offspring will result from a pairing.

I have 4 hatchlings from my bright red and chocolate and they tend to be all choc with the red/orange patterns on them but that'll change as the mature I'm sure. But it's just a coin toss, your Harleys could give you pinstripes.
