Hi,
I'm relatively new to Geckos - we have 3 Phelsuma Grandis in the viv together (1 male 2 females), all seem to get on fine and up to now no problems - one of the females started shedding on Thursday evening and she's only managed to shed about half of her skin (she has managed to clear her head and her feet/toes)
Usually it's a pretty quick affair (from my limited experience) - a day max or so and all the skin is gone - she's off live food as well - even ignoring mealworms! (although she has had a lick at the fruit pot and some Gecko food earlier today)
I've got a repti-fogger on the tank and I've upped the number of times it comes on a day to keep the humidity really high; I suspect the problem is she really likes it in the basking spot and won't budge - I have 3 Hygrometers on the setup, humidity is usually about 45% under the basking spot, 65% on the other side of the setup and about 75% near the bottom.
Do I have anything to worry about or should it just sort itself in a few days? Is there any way to help her and speed it up - someone suggested zoo med shedding aid - is that worth a go?
Thanks
