Help with morph and sex plz

Looks to be just a red pattern-less crested with some dalmation spots. For sex, we need a close up on the area at the base of the tail to determine it. Like flip it upside down and take a picture.

Would I call it a red patterns if he just had the one black spot on head? He has little spins running down his back and sides that appear to be black tips but I think it's shadowing from light. ..also the tip of his tail seems to be burnt or something and is bent from sleeping upside down...tip of tail is a Lil dry and sore looking kind of dark anyone know if it will heal or what is it

The black spots are dalmation spots, mine is a flame and still has those spots. If the tip of the tail is injured, keep an eye on it for signs of infection and keep the cage really clean. It should heal on it's own.

Here's a better picture ....so if sumone ask what kind of crestie he was what would I say...would I say a red patternless or would I say a red patternless dalmatian. ...also is he a nice example of a red patterless?

K sweet I was hoping he was a red patternless. ..I just didn't know if he was...he's hiding deep tangled up in plants right now so I'll try and post pictures of his rump tommorrow

Yeah just need the underside of his butt. I can't see the pores that well but I can see some nads or no nads. Mine is a frog-butt so you can clearly tell that he is in fact a boy!

There's a patternless yellow at my local pet store... have thinking of buying it ...they want more money then what I paided for my red? Is yellow rarer then red or is it more desirable. ?

Sorry Ya'll I fell asleep early last night (you know.... like the grandma that I'm slowly becoming).
You do have a Red Patternless with light Dalmatian spotting.
I would need to see a clear, close and well lit shot of the vent area near the base of the tail between the legs to help determine sex. He does look fairly large so it should be easier to tell sex.

Based on the bulge and his size, I'm going male. Though I won't be 100% sure unless I see and underneath shot of his vent area and actually see pores. I'd need it to be clear and well lit. I'm still calling him a red patternless with very light Dalmatian spotting.

What think male or female....would like to get a few opinions on if he is red patternless or red bi color or something... sometimes you can kind of see like some hardly noticeable green color down his back

I'm going with male even though the picture is way too blurry. The green tint may just be what he fires down to. I'm still calling him a red Patternless. I don't think anyone would tell you any different. The only way he would be considered a Bi-Color is if he had two truly different distinguishing colors, one on the dorsal and one on the sides. It does look like there is a tiny bit of difference in the dorsal color (slightly darker) but not enough to qualify as a Bi-Color. The slight difference in color on the dorsal looks more like a trick of the light to me.

IMO, he's definitely male. he's also a little on the thin side; how's his appetite?

also, the end of his tail looks a bit necrotic. how was he injured? from what I've seen, that's typical of either bites by a cage-mate or shed constriction that caused a bit of the tip to fall off. I would be watching it very closely; if it spreads up the tail he needs to see a vet.

also, he's a red dalmation. you can't call him patternless if he has a pattern :)

I just got him a couple days ago he ate 4 or 5 crickets since then but won't eat cgd or banana....I think I might return him then ..my first lizzard I didn't know he had tail problems...I think there's a nice yellow patternless for a little more....if I return red for yellow can I put yellow into same cage...should I clean cage...only had him for like 2 days

eh, I'd keep him. potential vet visits are part of the deal and it might heal just fine.

if it's only been 2 days, it's way too early to say what he won't eat. a gecko can take a few weeks (with zero handling or extra added stress) or longer to adjust to a new home. that's probably why his red is so dark and pretty; he's stressed out.

if you do try to exchange him, you can't put them in the same cage unless they were in the same cage at the store; 2 days is enough time for any illness or parasites to be passed on. you can completely swap out the contents of the cage and do a heavy-duty disinfection and re-use it, otherwise I would never do that.
