My room temperature in my house is 72 to 75 degrees...do I need any kind of light for my crested gecko...I read something about a photo period of 12 hours of light is appropriate. .but then it said you don't need one....also if I don't use a light will I need calcium with d3 to sprinkle on crickets?

A regular photo period is essential as they are nocturnal and need the natural day/night schedule.
The temperature you currently have them at is perfect, no additional heating is necessary.
I don't often feed insects as barely any of my cresties or gargs really seem interested in them but when I do, I lightly dust them with calcium with D3 and a multivitamin. The Pangea food I feed has all the suppliments and nutrition that cresties require, so I don't dust too heavily because I don't want to throw off the balance of suppliments in their diet.

I don't understand the photo period part ...say if open the blinds at sunrise and close the blinds at night and my temperature is perfect do I need any sort of lights for my crestie..?

You don't want direct sunlight as it will dry out your enclosure very quickly and cause dehydration.
You don't need additional heating with your current temperatures.
You don't need additional lighting if your gecko has a natural day/night cycle.
You don't have to open the blinds completely (or at all depending on exactly how much light is allowed in). As long as you can naturally tell what time of day it is where your gecko is kept, you'll be fine. For instance if you had your crested gecko in a basement where little to no natural light comes in, then you may want to add a light to simulate the natural light cycle. If your crestie is in a normal room where you can tell what time of day it is, then you don't need an additional light.

K perfect...I needed to make sense of that... I don't need lights then....here's a question or two while I got you...should I kept the bedroom lights to a minimum at night..and if my crestie does eat for a while when I first got him is that ok...I keep a bowl of rapasy in enclosesure and am trying him once at night with crickets ..he hasnt eating anything in two days...I seen him drinking off plants tho

I have both my crestie and leo in the living room, I usually stay up pretty late and they still come out when I have my living room light on. They kind of adjust to house lights being on and it doesn't affect them, so long as it's not shining into their eyes it should be fine.

I would not stress about him not eating anything right now. He probably has eaten a bit of the repashy, you just haven't noticed it missing. Mine ate little bits of it when I first got him now 2 weeks later he licks his bowl clean and I even spotted him drinking from his water dish last night. Mine still has not eaten any roaches, he's interested and the hunting response is there, he just won't eat them. Some cresties will just not eat bugs at all, while others will. Don't stress, try to stay calm and let him do his thing for about 2 weeks or so. It's easier said than done, I know.

I have lights on my tanks but that's only because I have a natural vivarium so the lights help the plants grow. Otherwise just open the blinds and give them some light and they'll be fine. My geckos use to 've in my bedroom and I'd watch tv in there at night and they were fine and active. As far as eating goes they usually stop for a short period while they try to get acclimated to new environments. Just keep offering it and they'll eat when they're ready.

In that temperature range during the day, they'll be fine. As long as the temp does not go below 65 at night, they don´t need any heat lighting. Cresteds do need a day/night cycle, but as long as there is ambient light during the day and darkness at night, they are fine.

If you have a UVB light on them, then use calcium WITHOUT d3, and if you don´t have a UVB light, then use calcium WITH d3.
