Help with sex

I was wondering if my crestie was male or female as I figured it is time to name him...also when cresties are very dull and pale does that mean they're relaxed?

Based on the size of those bulges, I'm going with male. When they're not fired up, they "blend" in. No one still really knows why they fire up, it can mean any number of things.

Definietly male.
Crested geckos tend to fire down during the day while they are sleeping and fire up at night when they are awake. Kylie @ the Gargoyle Queen has a good explanation and photos:

dull coloration is also very common shortly before shedding.
