I want another gecko but have a problem

Sorry if this us posted in the wrong place. So, I want to get either a crested gecko or yet another leopard gecko. My mom is concerned about what I will do with my reptiles (corn snake and two leopard geckos) when I go to university in a few years, as I will have to move away. I won't necessarily be able to find someone to temporarily take care of them, and moving them temporarily could be an issue. Because of that problem, I currently can't get another critter. There must be a way around this! Any ideas? Ease of care isn't an issue, as I already care for leopard geckos and created geckos are easier to care for except for misting and space isn't an issue either.

Well, if you will not be able to bring the animals with you then I would suggest holding off on getting more until you have the ability to keep them with you or at the very least have someone who will care for them while you are away. I know it sucks hearing that you shouldn't get an animal, but take it from somebody who waited a very long time for an animal, it is much better for them and you when you actually are able to provide everything they need.

I would agree that if you cannot guarantee that someone will be able to take care of your animals, then it's best to hold off on getting another. It's stressful for animals to constantly be moving from one place to the next so that's really not a great option.
