Boarding your gecko?

Hello!

So I just made last minute plans to go see family in a month and will be gone from about almost 5 days (Leaving super early on day 1 and coming back in the afternoon of day 5). The only roommate who would be willing to check up on her will be out of town as well. Has anyone ever boarded their geckos or do you usually just throw in some extra water and mealworms and leave them to their own devices? I believe the place I adopted her mentioned that they could board her if needed. One of the guys who works there is pretty knowledgeable about leopards geckos so I'd be comfortable leaving her in his care. But I don't know if the stress of moving her and leaving her in what may be now a strange place would be worth it.

I appreciate the help!

I would just let her be at home. This will be less stressful on your gecko.
Just add an extra water dish and leave a bowl of mealworms.
She'll be fine for 5 days.

Thanks for the advice. The thought of leaving her all alone for 5 days just makes me anxious, lol. I went out of town for 3 days last month and I was nervous about it. Although I'm sure she appreciated the break from me staring at her all the time and forcing her to drink nasty medicine!
