I've been working on the heat situation for my new enclosure (24" x 12") and was wondering which UTH I should go for. The Heat Wave is 10" x 11" so would be closer to 50% of my tank's floor space, and the Reptitherm (30-40 gal) is about 12" by 8" and would tend closer to 33% of the floor space.
I know, it seems to be an endless source of debate which brand is the best to use, but I seem to be in between a rock and a hard place figuring out which would work best for my 2 year old male leopard.
What do you, the community, think? Either way I'll be investing in a thermo/rheo to keep an eye on temps.
