Hides moved

Hello! I have a concern about something that's been happening for a while now

My leopard gecko's hides seem to move. Most of the time, they only move them a little bit to get behind them, but today I've noticed that their hides moved so much that one isnt even CLOSE to where the heat is. I'm wondering whether they're just doing this or if this is a sign of fighting. They dont fight in the day and the only time they've ever bitten each other was by accident due to not seeing well. They get along fine otherwise, but why are the hides moved?

If they were fighting you'd probably see signs other than a moved hide, especially if they were serious disputes. I wouldn't worry too much about the hides being moved, it's probably just a product of the geckos roaming their enclosure during the night

were they shedding when the hides moved? they tend to rub on everything. Also do you believe in ghosts ? lol
