3 Leopard Geckos and 1 African Fat Tail

Hello everyone, this is my introduction post and I figured I'd bring out the pics. I got my first Leopard Gecko in Mid December my roommate bought her and a small 10 gallon for me as a trade, and I instantly fell in love. So a few days later I went with my GF to a local reptile shop because she got herself a beautiful baby leatherback bearded dragon, and I saw a gorgeous Leopard Gecko with perfect lavender spots and she was looking really healthy, so I went home with her. I quickly bought a 20 gallon and got a great deal on a 30lbs of excavator clay substrate so I went wild and built a comfortable enclosure for the 2 to live comfortably together, they were so happy and I loved watching them eat and interact. Well a few weeks after I happened to be at the local Petco getting some worms for the GF and I saw (what seemed so unique) an amazingly healthy looking Blazing blizzard leopard gecko and I had to have her. So within a month I went from 0 to 3 leos really fast, and I couldn't be happier with them. They're all females so I'm not worried about any of them being territorial and there's plenty of space and over 10 hides that they all utilize.

Luckily my roommate is very knowledgeable about reptiles and gave me tons of advice along the way, and I did tons of research myself that's how I found out about this forum, so thank you all for the massive amounts of info for a reptile rookie like myself, this place helped so much. So as I have been looking at geckos and reading info and doing my homework. I stumbled on this gorgeous looking gecko that I know I had to have, after hearing the temperament is even more laid back than leos, my mind was made up and I had to get an African Fat Tailed gecko for the spare 10 gallon tank I now had lying around. So within a little over a month I've acquired 4 different geckos and I'm more than happy with all of them. I've been feeding them mealworms, waxworms (sparingly), crickets (which I hate) and recently dubia roaches to replace the crickets I'll no longer be buying (cuz they stink and are gross)

So sorry for the long story post but I'm just happy a resource like this forum exists and it's geared specifically to geckos. They're amazing and interesting little creatures that fit my lifestyle as a keeper perfectly. So I don't plan on owning any more reptiles anytime soon, I think the geckos are all gonna have me pretty occupied for a while. So I just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the info on this forum! IMG_4333.jpgIMG_4310.jpgIMG_3848.jpgIMG_4362.jpg

Hello and welcome to the forum, make sure before you house any reptiles together, you take time to allow them to go through a "quarantine period" this ensures no diseases that your new geckos may or may not be carrying, don't spread to your existing geckos. Geckos are addicting little critters aren't they? Like they say, you can't just have one!
