Completely new to reptiles... is he eating?

So I got a crested gecko at my LPS last Thursday, and I have no idea if he's eating or not. He was an 18th birthday present for myself, but I of course still did research on how to keep the crested. He has Repashy food. I don't think he has pooped yet either, but he is drinking water for sure. He's around 5 grams if that helps. Should I try crickets or order Pangea if there's no sign of him eating after another day?

really? it was only a few hours. also, I bet if you scrolled down a bit you would have found that there are already many threads on this topic.

SO. first and foremost, it can take up to several weeks for a new reptile settle in. some adjust more rapidly than others but there's no saying how long it will take your guy to get comfortable.

secondly, how are you caring for the gecko? in detail and with photos? setup? substrate? frequency of feeding? cage size/dimensions and furniture? any heat and/or light supplement, and details regarding the equipment? preferably with pictures of both caging and gecko. misting schedule? any method of measuring humidity and/or temperature?

and, how do you know he's drinking water?

it's almost impossible to help without more information. it would also help to know what homework you have done, so we know where to start.
