Leopard gecko age?

On average it is near 20 years, but I have heard of females aged 26 and some in their 30s! Males will generally live a bit longer. ;) Ron Tremper owned a 31 (Nearly 32) year old male and a 21 year old female.

Keep in mind that if you plan to breed, your gecko's life span will decrease tremendously. But with good care, they will be around a long time.

One more question what does a wild temperament mean? And I would just like it as a pet but I might buy a retired breeder that is 4 and younger.

Well, in this circumstance, wild means not tamed or domesticated while temperament means the nature of the animal (Assuming you mean in relation to geckos). Basically, it is saying that the personality of the gecko is "not tame", likely meaning that they could bite, tail wag (Defensive behavior) and run.

Even wild geckos can be tamed if you are patient! Good luck for when you adopt a new gecko!
