IMG_8393.jpgHey everyone! My name is Aubrey. I have had an ambilobe Panther chameleon for three years now, and just added a new baby to the fam this weekend. I have never had a gecko! I got a harlequin created gecko after attending Repticon from OBX Exotics. I haven't decided on a name yet and I am not sure of sex yet because he or she is only a few months old. His or her previous name is "Cheeto." He or she is in a small Tupperware-converted enclosure until he or she gets larger. I am feeding Pangea and will introduce Dubias in a couple weeks. I haven not handled him or her as not to stress it. There are artificial leaves, a hallow bamboo shoot hide, a foam hide, and paper towels in the Tupperware. I have been misting the container twice a day. I can't seem to find a happy medium for temperature. My apartment stays around 73. My bathroom holds my chameleon enclosure and I keep the lights on and the vent closed, to generate additional heat and humidity, however, by the end of the day it is around 80 degrees in there, which I believe is too hot for the gecko? I have purchased a zoo Med glass terrarium 12x12x20 when he or she is ready for it in about 6 months. I'm so excited to watch my gecko grow! He or she is beautiful and I'm already obsessed

Welcome to the forums and your new found gecko addiction.
80*F is a bit on the warm side. I'd try to get the temps down a smidgen.
Your little one is very pretty indeed.
