3 week gecko update, HELP!

[Beginner gecko]

Well, as said in the title I’ve had my gecko lucy for 3 weeks now and while there was progress it seems as I’ve I’m going backwards now. She now bites me rather consistently, wags her tail when I’m near, does not like being picked up at all. Honestly if she turns out to be a gecko who just doesn’t like me that’s fine but I’m going to at least try and make sure that she does end up liking me. So background I suppose.
The only way I can get her on my hand without her freaking out is by putting a mealworm on my hand which was intended to make her associate my hand with good things but now I think it has simply put in her mind my hand is food (the biting) and yeah. I doubt she’s stressed she eats well she’s always active has a 20 gallon tank 3 hides all her supplements. Honestly I don’t really know what to right here I just really need some help. So please if you have any tips on taming her or just getting her handlable please tell me. Also if you need to know something say so and I’ll respond ASAP.
I’m just kinda bummed because we were full steam ahead the 1st and second week and now it’s like we’re back on day one and I just don’t really know what to do I’ve watched just about every taming video on YouTube. So yeah please HELP.
