The official name is Thymus Serpyllum and it might be the same as Creeping Thyme.
I'd love to grow some in my Leo and frog tanks, it doesn't smell strong, I've seen it used in one tank, and it can be fed to tortoises, but honestly I have no idea if it's toxic to geckos or if bugs eating it in the tank before being eaten by my gecko would be a problem.
