Eco earth impaction?

Hi everyone! I recently changed my substrate for my crestie from paper towel to eco earth to help with humidity (and it also looks a lot nicer!). I am kind of concerned giving him bugs though. If he hunts them on the eco earth, will he ingest the substrate and get impaction? Has anyone had any experience with eco earth, and have advice? Thanks!

My crestie has had eco earth substrate, with a top layer of orchid bark, for about 2 years with no issues. He has hunted crickets safely many times. Once he missed the cricket and got some substrate in his mouth. He quickly shook the substrate out of his mouth then went back to hunting.
