Hi there, I'm looking for advice on how to get my day gecko to eat again.
Ever since Felipe has ovulated ~2 weeks ago, she no longer wants to eat. The last item I saw her eat was a black solider fly. Usually she has no trouble eating crickets or organic applesauce, but now she shows no enthusiasm when I put these items in her enclosure. Her day-to-day activity is very active and she drinks plenty of water; I just can't get her to eat something which isn't liquid. I'm worried that if this goes on, I'll have to begin force-feeding her dietary supplements until she begins eating on her own again.
Any advice other than offering her crickets which are not dusted or dipped in honey/applesauce? Also, what kind of feeders do your Giant Day Geckos seem to go crazy for?
