Leopard gecko tail question

Hello all. I have a fairly new Leopard gecko (about 3 weeks) She (I think she) is great, but I was just wondering about her tail, as it does not look like most Leo tails to me. I know a fat tail is supposedly a good thing, but hers seems to be bulgy and then thin and almost deflated looking at the base.. I've attached some pictures so was hoping if someone could tell me if this is normal! Thank you!

how much are you feeding her? also, has she ever lost her tail because I know that their tails grow back a lot thicker, I am not an expert but thats what I have heard.

She eats every other day. Alternate between crickets and mealworms.. usually 4-5 medium crickets per feeding, and on the days she eats mealworms she’s eating about 10-12 mealworms. I do not think I am over feeding her but this is what her tail was like when I got her about 3 weeks ago. I do not know about the tail loss. I too have heard this and wondered that myself but can’t be sure.

Not an expert here, but sorta looks like shes lost and regenerated her tail, it looks like probably nearly the entire thing from what i can tell.

After doing some research I do think you are right. It does appear that it is a regenerated tail. I wish I had known this before purchasing her. Not that it would have changed my mind because I still think she’s a very cute Leo, but it’s something I wouldn’t have minded knowing.. with that being said, does it mean anything for her long term health having had dropped the tail? Is the tail still a decent gauge for her health or is it always going to be fat like that no matter how well fed she is? Sorry, it just brings up many different questions for me knowing, or thinking that this is or was the case now. I appreciate any and all responses.
