My Gecko has just vomited a lot of water with blood in it, she's also twitching sometimes like she's having a fit. she also acts like she's sometimes unaware of her surroundings or that i'm there, raising her tail and flicking it when there's nothing there. Her feet were dark red but only one foot has stayed red, rest have returned to normal clour

She finally noticed me so i put her in a warm bath

Sorry not much info but im really worried, hope someone can reply asap.

Thanks

That doesn't sound like anything you can fix at home, she needs to see a vet, as soon as possible.

I taken her to the vet shortly after making the post, another x ray has been taken which shown a 'white patch', given a poo sample so i am just waiting for results while she's at home still being sick. Her symptoms point to Crypto but we are waiting for an exotic specialist to confirm this.
Thank you for your response, i was just freaking out as soon as it happened.

I hope it's NOT crypto! If there are those suspicions, it may take a couple tests several months apart to confirm that.

Some vets can swab the vent for the sample. Then they don't need fresh feces.

Do you keep other reptiles? Crypto is highly contagious.

I hope it isn't Crypto too, i don't think she will survive so long without treatment. Her symptoms are,
.lethargy
.diarrhoea and loose urates
.nausea and vomiting
.pink body and redish feet
.vomits at the smell of food

I have witnessed her drinking from her bowl

The vets aren't great with exotics where i live so i am still waiting to hear back from the specialist hopefully by today.

The vet swabbed her vent but they said there wasn't much there, because she won't eat a thing.

I have a tortoise also and i am washing their bowls separately after disinfecting the sink.

If you have any suggestions on why her body area is turning pink i would be very grateful, her stomach has looked bloated for a month or so, the vet cleared her digestive tract and removed two urate plugs but this hasn't made her stomach any smaller. Also the x ray confirms she isn't carrying eggs.

Thanks

I've never heard of a pink body or reddish feet as disease symptoms.

Maybe she'd eat Oxbow's Carnivore Care?

Here is some crypto info:

And some quarantining info:

Thank you for the information you provided me with last year, i completely forgot to post an update due to how manic everything was. I thought i would let you know what happened, should anyone else experience any similar symptoms....

I managed to get a referral to an exotic vet and they observed her for a while and ran lots of tests and couldn't find anything. After that i agreed for them to perform a Barium Test (radiographic X-ray) which showed the liquid stopped at her gut.

They then operated on her and discovered an abscess and a lot of pus, also she had a few follicles on her ovaries so they removed them, they spayed her to make sure they don't come back.

After than she took a long time recovering, she burst her stitches a few times and the vet prescribed me antibiotics, painkillers and the Oxobow's Carnivore Care (which you mentioned above).

After having my doubts, she is now fully recovered (with a big scar that she isn't fussed about) and is now adventuring and eating more than me! :)
