P. cepediana Enclosure

I’m in the process of setting up a vivarium for a pair of P. cepediana and I have a concern. I keep the house around 68-70 all year round. I am going to use a heat lamp day and an emitter at night but I wanted to raise the ambient temp a little more. I’m utilizing a cork background and was wondering if anyone has any experience using a heating pad or heat tape on the back glass to make a warm spot. Would it even work? Is it necessary with a heat lamp/emittercontinually in use?

I would add the bulbs and monitor temps.

as cork is insulating, I think that might not be the best option. depending on the overall size, you can adjust the wattage of your CHE if you need more of a temp boost.
