Worriedish?

Hello :)

My geckos name is Taco and he is a boy, I got him about 7 months ago and he's been doing great! I've read that it's safe for me to accidently spray him, but I'm not sure if he likes it? He sort of stands still and licks his eyes. I also have a question about mold, is the mold okay if it's on the ground? The mold is growing in between a piece of dead coral and some moss on the ground. Don't worry the light isn't a heat lamp, here is a photo of him and his vivarium: IMG_20201008_225334.jpgIMG_20201008_231238.jpg

Is your enclosure bioactive with a cuc? if so the cuc will take care of the mold. Accidently spraying your gecko while misting is ok as long as you don't do it all the time. You could also do with more plants & branches in there to provide more cover, what size is the enclosure? If the coral has sharp edges I would remove it, you don't find coral in a jungle/forest unless it was a prehistoric sea before it was turned into a landmass, then you would have to dig pretty deep for it.

The coral is is pretty smooth (there is a rough edge that's keeping it in the ground, it's like a triangle shape), it is usually covered in moss. I am getting more plants to add soon (for the top), we're just waiting. Thank you for the reply :)
