My Day Gecko is eating mini snails in his vivarium?? Is this safe??

Does anyone know if it is safe for Day geckos to eat snails? The snails are somehow in his vivarium and recently I have seen him snacking on them. Anyone have advice?

Also check out the additions I made to my 36x18x36 viv!! New lights to make it look cool:biggrin: and growing baby tears on the sides to continue growing this setup!

I am far from an expert but i would be concerned about the shell getting stuck or if it breaks when eaten it could cause issues.
