Worried that your gecko isn't eating?

Here's a picture of one of my gecko's first meal in at least 2 months. Notice that she's pretty hefty. Geckos sometimes go on hunger strikes for weeks or months, especially ovulating females during breeding season. As long as the gecko isn't visibly losing a lot of weight IT'S OK!

My female has been fasting on and off for about 3ish months- she'll eat one or two superworms or a roach maybe once a week to 10 days then go two weeks without. Not even super interested in hornworms or silk worms. Hasn't lost any weight and still has normal urates and stools.
She's also quite a hefty girl and had been on reduced feedings, but at this point she's self-limiting :)
I got super worried about her and she had a vet check up, x-ray, and a fecal test, but was clear of everything obvious- so I just have to trust that she knows what she's doing.
Still licks the vitamins / calcium off the prey even if she doesn't eat it too.
She's about 18 months old now and 94g

My Leopard Gecko has been with me for maybe a month to two months. And I was told from the breeder that she is around 2 months. I’m not too sure about her past but I was told that she was only given mealworms. I gave her a couple of days to settle in like I should. And she originally ate great for me. She would eat crickets, and mealworms anything I would give her she would eat. But then all of a sudden she would stop eating for a few days. At first I thought it was because of shed but now I’m not too sure. Her body weight seems fine. But her tail seems a bit thin. And I don’t know what to do.
She is 6 inches and weighs 12 grams. And is 3 months old

Hello & welcome to GU, KaminariTheLeo! Please share a current photo of your leo.
Maybe Kaminari was full when you last fed her? At Kaminari's age leos often eat 3, then fewer, days per week. Are you certain you have a female?

Let's begin your own Gecko's Unlimited thread for Kaminari right here. Just copy & paste your first message onto your own NEW thread. Then you'll be set. We'll probably troubleshoot husbandry in addition to Food & Feeding issues, because ALL husbandry is connected.

Click here, then enter your own Thread title on the line you'll see.

PS:
I've just seen your 2 morph threads. Please share the best photo you have of Kaminari on your new thread.
