The tale of a rescue

One of the things that I do for myself now that I've been laid off my job is rescue sick leopard geckos. I search my local craigslist, and take in any unhealthy leos I can find, and work them back to health if possible.

So far, I've had 7 successes and 4 failures, two of which died on the first day I brought them home.

Yesterday I brought home another one, so I'm thinking that I'll kind of chronicle my experience here so you can see how I analyze/fix any problems I notice.

Symptoms of this gecko - no toes, dark skin and tail, skinny but not too skinny. So far, she seems pretty active, but that might be just exploring her new tank.

All I've done so far is set up a spare 10 gallon with a few tupperware hides and paper towels. All of her previous hides/decorations, rug and tank are being soaked in ammonia, rubbed down with bleach, and then rinsed over the course of the next 3 days.
