say congratulations to me I am the proud momma to 24 bearded dragon eggs. She laid them when I was out so I missed all the excitement, my son discovered them and I was told he was over the moon. Since our family increased we have started to raise Dubai (?) roaches to feed the little boogers. The beardies destroy the crickets and would eat all of them if we let them. The roaches have a higher protein content to them and are better for them. We had all the reptiles on the bed with us for a bit on Saturday and it was a blast. Two of the cats got a little acquainted with the beardies ( big boy and eve) it really was funny, one of them just approached eve very cautiously and then sniffed her. Eve just stood very still and the cat left. The other one was a lot more comical, she (cat) jumped on the end of the bed where big boy and eve both were and big boy just stared her down. She left in a hurry.
Oh I also found out that Tegus can jump, have not read that anywhere but I can tell u from first hand experience they can and quite a good distance also. anyway a good time was had by all and wish me luck on the babies will keep everyone posted on them.
