Crested Gecko Health

Hello,*

I am curious about the health of my crested gecko. I think she is a little over six years old. I got her when she was very young and she was fairly skinny and small. Since 2018 she has gotten wider in her stomach area. She weighs 53 grams, a hardy eater, and good stools. I just want to know if she looks normal because of her stomach or if something looks off.*

She does look a little wide in the stomach area, but since crested geckos can't show weight gain in their tails or, I imagine, their legs, the stomach is about the only place where that's possible. If she's active and eating I don't think you have to worry.
