Well, this is it! These are the last geckos I am getting for quite some time. (Yeah, right, huh? We'll see how long I can last ;) ):shock:

I want to give a big thanks to both Jess at Fallen Angel Geckos and Vanessa at Gecko Lair for my newbies!

Okay, first up is the Tremper albino male from Vanessa. I have named him Prometheus because he is absolutely on fire. Thank you again, Vanessa, and it was great to meet you!

And here is Titan and Makara. They are wonderful, Jess, thank you!!
Titan is a mack snow male and Makara is a female Reverse Stripe RAPTOR, 50% possible Giant.

He's starting to get his spots, awww

And she's such a sweetie!

Thanks again!

And I mustn't lose my reputation for posting tons of pictures, so here's some of the others.

Those are some lovely geckos, and that photo of Freya is absolutely spectacular! Mind if I ask what kind of camera you use? Prometheus is a great name - I planned to use it for my amel corn snake when I got him, but then he was just this tiny wisp of a snake, it seemed ridiculous. He'd fit it better now at nearly 600g, but he will forever be my little Pippin!
How do you choose names for your reptiles? I always struggle to find good ones, and I've got two reptiles I've had for a month now and I'm no closer to finding names for them than when I got them :D

My camera isn't anything special. It's a Nikon Coolpix L18 but if you're lighting is right you can get some pretty nice pictures. It's kind of funny naming them when they're young because they're so teeny. Odin was microscopic when he was a baby and the name just didn't fit, but you have to let them grow into it ;).

I get my names from different mythologies for the most part. :)

Those were some amazing pictures! Impressive photography. What lighting do you use? I have yet to perfect photographing my gecko, the flash always whites out his pattern yet without the flash I cannot get a clear crisp picture.

Flash can be a real pain. I try to refrain from using a flash and instead use a bright light of some sort to light the scene. I use one of those 'natural sun' simulating florescent lights. Macro settings on you camera is very useful, too. It takes a little tweaking (with both lights and the camera) so be patient but I'm sure you will find something that will work for you. :)

DUUDE Solis and Odin are FREAKIN beautiful!
Thanks!! I think so too.

Is Pandora an Enigma? :] They're all gorgeous, but she stood out to me
congrats on all your healthy babies

Yep, Pandora, Tanith, and Sgt. Pepper are all enigmas :) Pandora is quite the crazy one.

Thank you for the compliment!

No problem, I've always wanted a large collection my self. :]
If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase or get your geckos from? My boyfriend and I are not too sure about buying from breeders online...what would you suggest?

My geckos did not come from one place, but a multitude. :) I've built my collection up over a while.

Solis and Freya are from a petstore
Tanith and Pandora are from Kevin Squires (bought them online)
Makara and Titan are from Fallen Angel Geckos (bought online)
Vega is from a local fellow who is no longer into geckos as far as I know, Andrew Gentry
Odin is an expo pick up
Loki and Dagda are adoptions from GoReptiles (online)
Tesla, Muse, and Sgt. Pepper are all from Bright Albino (He's local)
Prometheus is from Gecko Lair (She's local too.)

Soo.. I've had very good luck buying online but you do have to be careful. Do research, (Fauna Classifieds' BOI is a good resource). If you are able to, look at trader ratings and see if they have good feedback. Ask other people who have bought from them. Shipping prices can be a pain but it's worth it! Reptile shows are also an awesome place to get good deals on animals, but you most likely will get no guarantee on health so make sure you handle and closely examine any animals you might get! I made this mistake with Odin when I went to my first show. He turned out to have a couple deformities that I didn't notice until later.

Good luck on expanding your collection. :)

Thanks once again, maybe I will buy online next time :)

The picture of Tanith is so amazing. I cant believe how bright and clear it looks for such a close up.
Thanks! It was probably my favorite shot out of the entire photo shoot. Lighting and a nice macro function can go a looong way. :)

I like the Enigma LG on the thrd picture :) It's so cute ;)
Picture #3 Is Titan, who is not an enigma but a Mack Snow. But thank you! He's quite the cutie, but quite the little psychopath at times.
