What on earth were they doing with the silicone-injected geckos to try and treat HIV/AIDS in humans?? Silicone is toxic to us, too...!!

RM100,000 is around $34,000USD, I'm pretty sure there is a better way to get a gecko big and heavy for something a bit less than that.

I would like to think it's not money itself, but greed that drives this sort of thing. A total lack of morality helps select the method though.
I can't imagine the type of person who could bring themselves to inject a live animal with silicon to bulk it up, its hard enough for me to understand those vain people who do it to change the way they look.
