Leopard gecko food

My leopard gecko has skin in his eyes and can't see his food. I've been feeding him chicken baby food. (It's the only thing I've found that I can get him to eat) is there anything else (not bugs) that I can get him to eat???

Try getting a warm, wet Q-tip and gently wipe it over his eye. I've done this with my bearded dragon a few times and it works like a charm without causing any pain or damage.

As for the not feeding "bugs", is this just temporary as he can't see? Or all the time?

Good idea!
I don't know he has had skin stuck under the eyelid of both eyes and a small bump on one of the eyes.
He has shed 3 times in the last month and has had skin stuck each time (I'm pretty sure) I've never got all of it out, only small portions...
Thanks!

no problem and good luck

if you don't already have one a humid hide is a must to assist in shedding and avoid these kind of issues in the future.

do make sure though to switch over to feeder insects (crickets, dubia roaches etc.) asap if the chicken isn't just temporary

and as for the bump, it could be a number of things from substrate in his eye, to an infection, to a parasite, or just be from the skin. If the bump is still there a day or so after you manage to get the skin out, try drops of saline solution.

Thanks.
I'm going to get a humid hide soon.
I am putting saline solution drops in his eyes.
I'm not sure if the bump is still there cause I saw it last week but haven't looked that closely at it recently.

I would recommend getting a humid hide in there as soon as possible. It is critical to hydration and the shedding process.

You can use a cheap container lined with moistened paper towel for now. It could look something like this picture.
