I know this should go in the viv section but I figure it would get more views here. I was browsing the forum and couldn't seem to find the answer I was looking for do any of you know of any plants that are definitely safe for Tokay's I wanted to have one set up for display and can't find squat on what plants would be safe at all. The last thing I want to do is start buying random plants from the regions they are from and end up with some dead Tokay's that is unfathomable. So I guess this is what I am looking for.

1.What plants are safe.
2.What plants are harmful and should be avoided.
3.how well will these plants create a natural environment for the Tokay's.

I Will be housing a male and female in this so there is a possibility that babies would be born in here too. Thank you can't wait to hear from you guys.

I know that several folks use Pathos because they are sturdy enough to stand up to Tokay and grow easy in tropical enclosures.

Thanks! I really would love to make it look as nice as possible. I also worry about the safety of my reptiles. There really isn't much information available on Tokay's as a whole and I hope to see and help change this. I am currently breeding 2.2 one set is cb produced by nick Esposito and the other has one F4 female cb produced by Lance Portal the male is unknown origin. He was a rescue from a couple who was scared of him he was underweight but not bad he now sits at 70g eats like a horse and is very tame. I also understand that you yourself breed Tokay's would you mind pming me with some details about what offspring you expect to see this year I would be very interested in a few hatchlings.

Cool, Nick is a great guy and one of the very, very few guys to have cb Tokay at shows.

And welcome to the Gekko forums here. I think you'll find more up to date Tokay information here than most anywhere else.

I'll drop you a note shortly,

Michael's Tokay Hoard
