:banana:Ok so here's the deal. Daisy my female leo has been acting strange and I was worried she was sick, then last night she started "digging" at the paper towel substrate and I thought she lost her mind, then this morning I look in the cage and she had laid 2 gigantic eggs! I never...
Before I get to the news I want to thank all of you for your support and guidance while peach has been sick from sand impaction.
Now on to what this thread is meant for. Last night my husband and I started hearing Peach screaming and I took her out of the tank right away. She was trying to...
Due to one of my leos having sand impaction I decided no more sand. (To see xrays and more info from the vet please see my other thread "My leo has sand impaction"
I pray I got the right reptile bark (it's the only brand/kind I can find and am out of money) I got Exo-terra Forest Bark. see...
Thank you all for your advice and concern, I rushed Peach to the emergency vet about 2 hours away (ugh) but got her looked at and turns out she did have sand impaction after all. The vet was very optimistic since I "seem to know what I'm doing" (thanks to all of you) so she has to soak in water...
Hey all I just have a concern, maybe it's nothing..
Peach, my female leopard gecko is always very calm and doesn't squirm or anything when we pick her up, almost lethargic. We do see her move around at night but that's not my concern. What I'm concerned about is when I look at her anus/vent...
I took my leopard geckos to the vet today for an evaluation. (and my ferret) and everyone came back with a clear bill of health. Daisy was the only one with a small concern. She wasn't getting enough calcium and her jaw wasn't as "firm" as it should be so she's on a supplement/medication to help...
Ok for leopard geckos what is the absolute hottest temp and coldest temp the cage can be at without harming the leos. I keep my temps from 75 to 95 degrees, I'm just curious is all...
I have been wondering, so figured I'd ask. I feed my leos crickets that I gutload with Reptocal (includes Calcium and Vitamin d3) and Exo-Terra multivitamin, both powders. Then I put them in the cage and don't bother to redust or remove them until they are either dead or been eaten. I also...
I'm a new leo owner and have a question. I had one female and bought another female yesterday, then a male today. Both females have shed and the male is in the process of shedding. I keep dangling mealworms and crickets in front of them, as well as letting them crawl around the cage for the leos...
As you can guess I'm new here. So a little about myself, my name is Candice, I'm a full time student, happily married and an artist. I recently rescued a leopard gecko from some friends of mine because they couldn't take care of her anymore, and hadn't fed her in months. She was on her death bed...
Hello all, I'm new here and hope I put this in the right thread(s) I really need help, my friend gave me this leopard gecko and they said it was a male but from looking at online photos of males vs female genitalia I'm completely lost...it looks like he has lumps like a male would, but no pores...
