ok...so rather suddenly, and without any noticeable catalyst, two of last year's phantasticus offspring have suddenly had their eyes begin to bulge wildly from their heads. on one of the offspring, it it one of the eyes. on the other, it is both of the eyes. i have not taken a picture yet...

just had 2 more satanics hatch out tonight, best news of all is so far i think both look like possible females. they have yet to shed but that brings the count up to 9 hatched out, unfortunately one didnt make it far, so 8 surviving at this point! theres still about 10 eggs left cookin right now.

i just got my 13th and 14th eggs last night, looks like i've got #15 and #16 coming tonight from one of my red girls! this year has totally blown away my expectations (but we still gotta wait to see what actually hatches!)
