Here is the picture of female with regenerated tail. Not the best shot but this girl is really secretive compared to the other female with full tail so hard to catch her out. They are doing great so I don't want to disterb them too much if they are happy.
Ok here are some better pictures...
My female died today. I am thinking she was already too damaged to recover so I am not surprised. I might reconsider force feeding on this species next time, or at least make some changes based on her showing signs of this being very stressful (every time she poked me with her tail repeatedly...
Does anyone have a good temperature range for these guys. I have a lot of information on them but the information on temperature, ranges quite a bit. One web site that sounded good had temps going as high as 80F for U.phantasticus, so I was sceptical on their temp listings of the U.lineatus...
Too bad I am slow to get the camera, this guy was showing off big time showing underside of tail, lunging, rocking back and forth and with open mouth! I just lifted the hide box to make sure still alive...
the danger of me does not mess with a good meal...

It was after taking into the light to get a better view and it closed its eyes, later...

Why read books that just have gecko on them, think outside the box
I am cosidering getting some of these guys but want to look into them a little more. Most pictures online dont look too good so if anyone has better shots of some nice looking ones that would be great.
I have all of these right now...

These guys where a little more dificult to keep weight on and for some reason all of them would sleep in head down position unlike my other phantasticus in the same type of ficus. They all had yellow top/orange belly patterns and came in on the same shippment. had 1.5 and male was a little...
I am keeping my A. felinus singly. Does anyone keep in groups or have any ideas on how long to keep males with female? I have older article in Reptilia Vol 4 #3, and it has some information...just looking for any new information based on recent experiences. thanx
