What do you feed your leos?

I noticed in the thread I posted about overfeeding leos that it seems everybody feeds differently (what, when and how). I thought it might make a good poll. Also, do you raise any of your own feeders? I currently feed crickets, mealworms and waxworms, and am trying to start a colony of each. I...

    L. Williamsi and Mites

What's the best treatment with the least amount of stress for the animals? I received a trio the morning and at least one of them had a few mites. She is now taking a warm water bath. Thanks

    Athena!

Here's the newest lil girlie from Petsmart. Saw her and my heart sank. She has a regrown tail and is missing the ends of several toes. Right now she's in a quarantine container on Sprocket's cage. I think she's either abherrant or stripe (maybe lavender stripe?). Whatduya guys think?

    A Got A Free Egg!

So I went to Petsmart today for crickets and they were really busy. OF course I had to look at the leos and low and behold there's this egg in with the adults! Turns out it had been laid today (or after they closed last night). There is a pair currently being housed together (I was a bit shocked...

    Can you overfeed a leo?

I was wondering this because Apollo ate 10 crickets and three mealworms tonight! His belly is big and lumpy now too.

    What Morph?

So I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread dedicated to this topic. :) It seems to be a pretty common question among leo people. So if you "got a new leo and was wondering what morph it is," post it here.

    L. Williamsi and Water Features

I have a trio of L. williamsi coming next week, and would like to know how these guys do with water features? I have a 15 gallon tall all planted and set up for them and it includes a small water feature (water can be up to 2" deep). Do. L. williamsi swim well at all if one falls in the water...

    Mediterranean House Gecko

Found this baby Mediterranean house gecko in 1" of standing water under a plant pot. It was raining and 40 degrees (F) out, so he was hardly moving. He was in there with a fellow gecko that had already drowned. I don't know how he got there and I was suprised he was alive when I found him...

My New Leo - What Morph?

Here's some photos of my new juvenile leopard gecko. I think it's a boy. Also, I think he's a high yellow but am not 100% on that (what do you guys think?). He's finishing a shed in the photos so he still has some old skin on his toes. I am moving him to a 20 gallon long tank in a couple days...

    Phelsuma standingii BITE! Pics

I thought just for for fun and as a cautionary warning not to try to hold Phelsuma geckos- besdies the fact that they're FAST, and can be skittish! We had to move my mom's male P. standingii (his name is Jed) to a smaller enclosure while we finish his terrarium. I tried to get him to walk into a...
