Hi All
Just thought I would let you know I just scored a 1.1 Nephrurus Asper - 4-5 year old pair. I was concerned about the age but then 4-5 years isnt that old is it - considering breeding age is 2-3 and up?
Will post pics when they arrive today.
Cheers
Ari
Hi All
Just thought I would check with you all to see if you all have Amyae that have significant pattern & colour variances. See Amyae Female 1, she is so different to the others? The reason I ask is that its been on my mind alot that the last 3 pics dont look like Amyae that everyone else...
Hi
Just curious what is the actual difference between these 2 x species? - they both seem very similar to each other. Is there a characteristic difference?
Cheers for your help with this question. :)

Hi All
This has been on my mind for a while. Why is it that the incubation period with this group of geckos varies so dramatically from say 90 days to 300 days & inbetween?
Is it more to do with temperature, moisture or what that triggers them to hatch?
Like wouldnt they be fully formed at...
Hi All
Just a couple of pics of my new Oedura Tryoni pair I got from Danny Brown (geckodan), thanks heaps Danny - great looking pair, love the colour and patterning.
Hi All
Well there were 4x eggs placed in the incubator on the 20th March from my Pilbarensis girls - not sure if fertile as I only got the male back in Feb.
Anyway the other 3x went off 1 week ago, however 1x continued on. I could see veins forming with the naked eye on the inside of the egg...
Hey everyone
Is it actually possible to see the red veins on the inside of the eggs without candelling - like 10 cm from it with the naked eye. I have never seen this before - and wondering if its a thin shelled egg I have.
Hi All
I had to post these couple of pics as this just amazes me and goes to show the importance, and or requirements by these little critters for certain elements. This is my female - and I always dust her crickets with calcium powder & also supply a small bowl of calcium in the enclosure as...
Hi All
Bit bored at the moment - so though I would post some pics of my new enclosure. Pic 1 is how I received it, Pic 2 is finished product after I touched it up.
Not that good but does the job, price for everything AUD$150.00.
Hey All
Didn't know you had a seperate area for Cyrtodactylus, I have already posted these pics in Australian. Thought I would post here as some people dont see in the Australian section. If its wrong then please delete from here moderator. :D
Anyway this is my female - currently have 6 x...
Well
Appart from the Oedura Coggeri, I think my Oedura Castelnaui may also be gravid. The 2nd pic I have adjusted the exposure/brightness not sure if I see eggs or an organ??? What do you reacon?
SEE THE 2X SACKS & THEN BELOW A SMALLER SACK IN THE MIDDLE BEFORE THE VENT? Could they be eggs...
Hi
Hey guys & gals I am pretty new to Oedura species - and must admit I find this species really hard to sex, infact extremely hard to sex. Anyway took these pics just now as the male or female was on the glass. I presume this is the female???? What do you reacon & if so do you thinks she...
Hi All
Just got a quick query re temps & there variances during the day & night ranges. Some breeders seem to drop the temps at night, and some dont.
Lets say a reptile room has an ambient temp from say 25-26 degrees all day & all night, but enclosures have gradient heating on one side only -...
This is one of my males - I dont know why but I have got this thing in my head to call a male gecko a "buck". So this is one of my overweight bucks. He is about 11 months old now & really tame. Just put my hand in and he crawls on it, and sleep on my hand sometimes.
Hi All
Thought I would post some pics of my new additions. Yesterday I received 1.1 Oedura Coggeri & 2.1 Oedura Castelnaui. I had an enclosure especially done up privately so I could have the O. Coggerii on one side, and the O. Castelnaui on the other. The light cage & heating is shared by...
