In-situ observations, photos and details - all species

Hello! As above, I am looking out for any in-situ photos, observations and general details of cyrtodactylus species, particularly in Thailand and Myanmar. I am particularly interested in C. brevipalmatus and I am also seeking any PDF articles on this species as well. I currently have a copy...

    A couple of new ones!

There are a few new faces in my gecko room... I am holding you all responsible for my apparent inability to give up keeping geckos! Sorry for the rubbish photos, I am nervous about disturbing them too much at the moment. That's it for now, as the others are being too elusive or...

    Some from 2012

Apologies for all these photos... I think I might have got a bit carried away! Some of 2012's finiavana hatchlings. Most of the younger ones have been males, but I particularly nice ones I think. These photos do not do justice to the colours and patterns! And a little female: Holdback...

    Uroplatus pietschmanni vivarium photos

Was just wondering if those that keep U. pietschmanni could share some photos of their vivaria? I feel that I need to add or change a few things with mine, and wanted to see some others for inspiration!

    Most recent sikorae hatchlings

Just thought I would share a couple of photos of my most recent hatchlings. I particularly like the male. And here is a female as a hatchling and now, more or less fully grown. The photo doesn't do justice to her stripe.

    U. finiavana hatchling

Let me know if I start to bore you all with these photos... Earlier this year, two finiavana eggs (which I had given up taking any notice of) from last season hatched. Both hatchlings are females and are looking excellent! Here is one of them that I photographed when upgrading her container...

    New Trachycephalus project!

I gave up keeping any Rhacodactylus a few years ago, and swore I would never have any again, as I intended to stick to Uroplatus only. However, the opportunity arose to keep these very interesting and timid geckos. I only have a couple of photos of them at the moment as they are very timid and...

    Long time, no update... (photos)(DUW)

Been having serious issues with my internet and logging onto GU lately, as well as being unimaginably busy, so here are a few photos to make up for my inactivity. 2011 was a good year for me for a couple of species, mostly sikorae and finiavana. I chose to sell my sikorae and finiavana...

    Some leafies

A lurking U. fimbriatus: A ghostly U. finivana: U. sikorae - I still can't get enough of the stripe on this guy: female phantasticus: male: another male. This picture doesn't really do justice to his massive tail: This little one didn't like being sprayed and was waving and rippling...

    Incubation temperatures and lengths

After being too disorganised in previous seasons to make a notes of incubation methods, I have managed to make a fairly detailed set of notes this year. If anyone has made notes with the following information then I'd be very interested to see them: - Species - Date that eggs were laid -...

    Female henkeli Tattoo...

I keep forgetting to post a photo of this. She only seems to have it when she is at her darkest. I was wondering if she is trying to tell me that she wants a son...? :)

I know some of you have already seen this, but thought I would share it anyway. MVI 0168 - YouTube Very interesting stuff, but I hope that it isn't the start of another morph...

Here are my first hatchlings this year: and just for good measure, here is the first sikorae of the season:

How hatchlings fit inside those tiny eggs...

I had an aff. ebenaui that tried to hatch last year but died in the process. I am not sure why, but I have put it down to the incubation tempertures I was using last year. Anyway, I cut the egg open after being sure that the baby had died. I found it quite interesting how she was wrapped up in...

    Contribution Thread: Uroplatus breeding

Ok, we’re going to try something slightly new here. I will try to summarise as concisely as possible, but please read. The idea of this thread is to have straight-to-the-point information, contributed by GU members. There are so many different variations of husbandry and methods that...

    Breeding Tettigonia

I often see crickets of the genus Tettigonia in the garden (T. virisissima I think), and I wondered about collecting some and captive breeding them (so they are parasite free). I was wondering if anyone in Europe has tried breeding these and if so, if they have any tips :)

    Brookesia - EU keepers/breeders

Just wondering if there is anyone in Europe working with CB Brookesia species? I have seen them come up for sale once or twice, but always WC. If anyone has experience with them, I'd be interested to know :)

    Male A. felinus (Cameroon Highlands)

I haven't posed in the Aeluroscalabotes forum for ages, so thought I'd post a couple of photos of one of my males from last night :) And an older photo of one of my females :)
